Is Alongside a home-care agency?
No. Alongside does not provide hands-on personal care. We organize practical support and identify independent provider options. Families select, contract with and pay those providers directly; Alongside does not supervise or guarantee them and accepts no referral commissions.
Is Alongside medical care?
No. With appropriate authorization, we can schedule medical visits, organize questions and help with practical follow-through. We do not diagnose, interpret clinical instructions, prescribe, administer or assist with medication, or replace licensed healthcare professionals.
Do we have to sign up for monthly services?
No. The $695 Assessment and personalized Aging Plan are valuable on their own. Ongoing coordination is available when you want help putting the plan into action.
Can you help if I live out of town?
Yes. Alongside can serve as a reliable local coordinator that identifies resources, schedules services and provides agreed updates to authorized family members.
Can you talk with my parent’s providers?
With appropriate written authorization, our team can organize communication and practical follow-through. Medical decisions remain with the patient and licensed healthcare professionals.
Do you handle emergencies?
No. Alongside does not provide emergency response, continuous monitoring or 24/7 supervision. For an immediate medical or safety emergency, call 911.
